Handmade in Hundon are bespoke caterers situated on the Suffolk, Essex Cambridgeshire borders. William Barthorpe is a Conran trained chef whose team rise to the challenge of producing the food that you want.
We do not work from set menus, as each occasion is different. We prefer to work with your likes using seasonal food and local suppliers. Sarah Barthorpe also trained (front of house) at the Butlers Wharf chef school, and runs an experienced team of regular staff.
We use fresh fish straight from the coastal markets, free-range meat from local suppliers and fresh seasonal produce locally sourced where possible. We cook fresh food on site using yours or our equipment (a restaurant at your venue.) We do not use commercially prepared stocks or sauces and cook from scratch for two, or two hundred.
Hygiene star rating: Five Stars out of five from St Edmundsbury Borough council. Handmade in Hundon was assessed as having very high standards of food safety management and are fully compliant with food safety legislation.

We like to meet clients early on in the process and give as much help and advice as they require. Having catered for many weddings our experience can help your day run more smoothly giving you and your family the opportunity to relax and enjoy the day.
We work well with venues or are equally as happy in a marquee in your back garden. We do not charge corkage and can work with or without outside bars. We always offer a tasting so you can be assured of the quality of food you will be getting on the day.
